Northwestern to host IEEE 2016 International Conference on Computational Photography (ICCP)

Ollie Cossairt has won the NSF CAREER Award

Small World’s team member Ollie Cossairt has been awarded a prestigious Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his project entitled “Coherent Computational Imaging: Micro Measurements in a Macro World.” The project will explore the limit to the resolution we can achieve with digital cameras.

Norbert Scherer has been awarded the Peter Debye Prize

On March 24th, 2015, Scherer was awarded the Peter Debye Prize from the Edmond Hustinx Foundation and Maastrict University. The award recognizes Scherer’s contributions in chemistry, nano materials, optics and spectroscopy. One element of the award is cross-disciplinary research.
